Five opening moves that carry any tower defence run
Most tower defence losses happen in the first two waves, not the last. If you scramble early, you spend the whole match catching up. So before you place anything, look at the map and find the choke.
A choke point is where the path narrows or curves back on itself. Towers there hit enemies for longer, so your damage per second effectively doubles for free. I always spend my first placement here, even if it means leaving the rest of the map bare for a wave.
Second, don't over-invest in your first tower. Games love to tempt you with a shiny upgrade early, but flexibility matters more than raw power when you don't know the enemy mix yet.
Third, save a little currency. A full wallet after wave one feels wasteful, but having enough to react to a surprise flyer or a fast rusher has saved me more runs than any single upgrade.
Finally, learn the pause. Most mobile tower defence games let you place towers while paused. Use that breathing room instead of panic-tapping. It's not cheating, it's just good planning.
