Emberfall Legion

Emberfall Legion drops you into a slow-burning world where you build a party of four and slowly unlock their stories. Combat is turn-based with a positioning twist: where you stand on the grid matters as much as which skill you pick. We spent way too long re-rolling turns to get the perfect chain.

The writing is better than it needs to be. Side quests actually pay off, and a couple of companion arcs genuinely surprised us. Progression can grind a little in the mid-game, but the boss design mostly makes up for it.

If you like RPGs where you tinker with builds, this rewards patience. It's not for players who want instant action, but it's a comfortable long-haul game.
